The author, Dave Jeffery, may be a gifted story-teller who is aware of the way to develop wise and quirky characters that we are able to make fun of while not creating fun of. The city librarian and historian, Agnes, involves mind. She contains a botched hearing aid and Jeffrey takes her dilemma into a wave of laughter for the reader. you'll perceive the "wave" pun after you meet Agnes within the story.
I liked this story. it's not just for young adults except for readers of all ages.
