Even tho this book is recent it is not out dated. The story is exciting and fun. My seven year recent loves all of the Famous 5 books. there's a touch of danger however conjointly the youngsters are resourseful and create sound, safe decisions. during this one George's mother is taken to the hospital and her father goes along leaving the youngsters with the temporary house keeper Mrs Stick. A wonderful child's journey tale.

The 2nd book in Blyton's "Famous five' series is one in all my favorites.
